Malibu Driftwood is the scent of a Beach Wood and can be described as fresh, clean, and invigorating. The fragrance opens with a crisp, oceanic scent, reminiscent of a sunny day spent by the beach. The overall aroma is uplifting and energizing, perfect for those who enjoy the fresh and clean scent of the ocean. The scent will automatically bring you to the beach as you smell the fresh, salty, and slightly earthy air, reminiscent of the ocean, sand, and sun. The aroma is dominated by the fresh, crisp, and clean scent of sea air, mixed with the salty scent of seaweed and the slight hint of minerals from the sand. There is also a slightly earthy and woody scent, which comes from the driftwood, rocks, and vegetation that can be found on the beach.

This candle comes in (3) difference sizes: 3.5 oz, 6 oz, and 10 oz. All vessels utilize the appropriate wick size to accommodate the size of the candle container. The wax type, wick size, container size, and container type, have been vigorously tested to ensure optimal functionality and fragrance load will be achieved.

Want your candle to last longer with minimal soot? Trim the wick to 1/4” before every single burn, and keep it lit for 3-4 hours at a time. Trust me on this one!
During the burning process, carbon builds up on the wicks. This is a normal process, however if you re-light a wick that has this carbon build up it can cause excess soot and heat. This yields a lower quality candle performance. (If you have ever noticed black smoke sticking to the sides of your glass candles in the past, this is why!)

Each Item is handmade by me in my small apartment in Los Angeles, Ca. Because all of these items are handmade, they may have some imperfections such as: minor discoloration of the wax, slightly off-centered label, tiny markings on the outside of the jar, etc. None of these impact the quality of the candle. Please also be aware that some fragrances promote rusting of the inside of the candle tins (another normal scientific process).
